Baahubali 2 The Conclusion | Prabhas | Rana Daggubati | s.s.Rajamauli

Author Anand Neelakantan unveiled on
Friday his much-awaited book "The Rise
of Sivagami", a prequel to the blockbuster "Baahubali", along with the film's director S.S.Rajamouli, its actors Ramya Krishnan and Rana Daggubati while hundreds of fans of the film lined up outside the venue here.
From students to officegoers, the crowd eagerly waited to catch a glimpse of the "Baahubali" stars in front of INOX, Nehru Place here.
Some even tried to get the answer to why the royal slave Kattappa killed Baahubali.
If the crowd gathered outside the venue was enthusiastic about the next part of the film, the audience inside was equally curious to know about the series of events in "Baahubali 2: The Conclusion".
But Rajamouli insisted the audience to wait for another month as the second part of the film will hit the screens in April.
As a build-up to that, "The Rise of Sivagami" was launched in English.
Its Hindi, Tamil and Telugu translations will be released in April.
"It (the book) will enhance the experience of watching the film.

It tells the story of how Sivagami becomes the most powerful rajmata in the film," Rajamouli told reporters here.
It unfolds the story of the kingdom of Mahishmathi, childhood and history of Sivagami, played by Ramya in the film.
"There is a sequence in the film that shows a combination of her motherhood and a warrior. The books reveal why she wants to destroy Mahishmathi.
Her father was killed by the king.
He was branded as a traitor or a more fashionable word would be anti-national perhaps.
The entire three series will be about how she transforms," Neelakantan said.
But the book is not only about the "mother Goddess".
It is also about Kattappa.
The author, who has penned fiction books based on the Indian epics of Ramayana and Mahabharata, said that only 10 per cent Indian stories are written in india despite having "countless stories" to tell.
And '"Baahubali' trilogy is just the beginning", he promised.

The book is not an adaptation of the 2015 fantasy-drama film.
"It's the world of 'Baahubali'.
It's not just limited to films. We have games and virtual reality series too.
The great thing about this book is the characters and incidents...are just like how you wouldn't forget the scenes in the film. You will recollect them," said Rajamouli. "They are so powerful and moving," he added. Neelakantan said that the book has more female characters and sought to explain why. "Because books are all about emotions.
In the movie, 45 minutes was all about war.
If I write that in 250 pages, you will fall asleep when you reach the second page itself.
So, I had to create other incidents," said the author, who left his other projects, including TV shows to focus on the trilogy.

This Is Why Baahubali Star Prabhas Should Make His Big Bollywood Debut Already!

Not all actors who are a rage in south manage to win the hearts of the audience who love mainstream Bollywood films.
However, Prabhas is an exception. After stars like Rajinikanth and Chiranjeevi, Prabhas is one of those fewest actors who managed to woo the audience who thrived only on Masala Bollywood movies. With the success of Baahubali, Prabhas has become a hot favorite of many of us.
There have been actors in the past who made successful transitions from regional cinema to mainstream Bollywood and next in the pipeline should definitely be Prabhas. And now considering his popularity, it's high time Prabhas received his big Bollywood break.
Prabhas has been acting since more than 14 years now and after making it big down south, Prabhas is keen on doing Bollywood films but he's in no hurry of taking up any project. He said, “I’ve got a few good [Hindi film] offers, but I have two movies in the pipeline that are my home productions. After completing those, if I get good scripts, I would love to do a Hindi film and work in Bollywood."

While we wait for Prabhas to sign his first Bollywood film, let's take a look at all the factors that makes Prabhas a prospective bankable Bollywood star too.

1. Baahubali. Enough said.

The magnanimous success of Baahubali has already established Prabhas as a superstar in the hearts of many. His fan following is huge and people are looking forward to watch him on the big screen over and over again. You point it out on the map of India and you'll know that his popularity is not geographically restricted. Baahubali has become an iconic film and while we wait for the second part to hit the theatres, all we can do is to secretly wait for him to be roped in by a Bollywood director.

2. His dedication towards his craft-His one film a time policy reflects his sincere work ethics!

Not many know that when Prabhas had signed Baahubali, he gave up on all his offers and decided to focus on Rajamouli's dream project. He gave his three years to the film and the result is a proof of his sincerity and hard work. Considering his past record and popularity, Prabhas was swarmed with offers but he decided to  stick to one project and give his 100%. But instead of following his success with few more similar films, Prabhas choose to go on an exile from big screen for nearly three years shooting for Baahubali. Bollywood definitely needs to bring him on board and shower him with roles that he truly deserves.

Salman khan perform at Vector Arena on April 21.

One of the world's biggest celebrities is heading for New Zealand, yet many Kiwis won't know his name.
Salman Khan is a Bollywood superstar and is set to perform at Vector Arena on April 21.
With 34 million Facebook followers the actor, singer and television personality is arguably bigger than any Hollywood celebrity.

Bollywood, the term for India's enormous movie industry, is the most prolific producer of film in the world in terms of productions released and people employed.
Khan will perform musical stage show Da-Bang in Auckland along with six other Bollywood stars as part of a world tour.

Promoters Samuel and Deepa Sen said the 51-year-old was the biggest star in Bollywood.
Samuel has brought Bollywood events to New Zealand since the 1990s through his company RS Promotions - and was involved with Khan's performance at the Logan Campbell Centre in 1996.
Khan was perfectionist which made the logistics of Da-Bang intricate and challenging, Samuel said.
"The way he's rehearsing and everything, he's not compromising on it."
At the start of March Samuel travelled to India for meetings in relation to the event and even got to meet Khan.
He said he was amazed at his humility and endearing personality.
Despite a tumultuous past, Samuel said Khan was a compassionate person and gave away a lot of his profits through his charity Being Human.
"He gives opportunitys to the underprivileged."
Da-Bang will be performed in English and Hindi, but English speakers won't have much difficulty following it, Samuel said.
"The way this show is designed, it just doesn't cater for Indians.
"Anyone can come and enjoy it.
"My son is seven and my mother is 68, they are both fans."

Who meet trump?

German Chancellor Angela Merkel will meet US President Donald Trump on March 14, the German government confirmed on Friday. When asked about media reports of the Merkel-Trump meeting, German government spokesman Steffen Seibert said “we do not deny it", adding more details will be given at "appropriate time". The White House on Friday also confirmed the visit. It will be Merkel‘s first trip to the US after Trump took office, Xinhua news agency reported. Trump, during his election campaign, had publicly criticised Merkel and Germany's refugee policy as a "catastrophic failure" and "chaos".

The critics indicated a bumpy start for the ties between Berlin and Washington.
Last month, Merkel hosted the visit of US Vice President Mike Pence at Munich Security Conference, in the southeast German city. Merkel then said world conflicts require
"joint efforts", which was seen as a gentle reminder to Trump's unilateralism and antiglobalisation policies.
Trump is expected to visit Germany on July
7 and 8, attending the two-day the Group Twenty (620) summit in Hamburg.
